Quick, simple, effective and without X-rays
Prevention, oral and dental hygiene
In order to insure an effective and efficient maintenance of your oral healthcare, regular checkups (bi-annual or annual) with the surgery’s dental hygienist are required.
A checkup involves a radiographic examination, a dental scaling, and the opportunity to undertake an early detection and diagnosis of dental caries utilising a brand new dental caries detection system without X-rays: the DIAGNOcam. (further information in the section diagnosis under the General dental medicine tab on the menu.)

The dental hygienist can also undertake the partial or full application of dental sealants onto the dental arches to protect teeth from the formation of tooth decay.
Fluoride helps to keep the enamel more resistant to cavities.
